Communication: Having the ability to speak with your walker directly is crucial. You can call or text them any time and receive a quick response or update.

Flexibility: We know what it means to be a dog parent. Sudden schedule changes happen, and we are always happy to add or cancel walks last-minute at no additional charge.
Preparedness: Rain or shine, sleet or snow. We are well-equipped for whatever comes our way. Raincoats, winter boots, fanny packs, sunscreen, you name it. We're ready!
Enthusiasm: We are a group of people who truly love dogs! We enjoy the exercise, the socialization, and being outdoors. Each day is a new mission to make sure each and every dog gets the fresh air and attention they deserve.

Reliability: Unless there's a serious medical or family emergency, we are 100% committed to our customers and are always available 8 hours a day, 5 days/week.

Locally: Our walkers live right around the corner, exclusively servicing the west-side of South Boston. We can arrive at your home within minutes if there's ever an urgent request or emergency. We are ready to solve and tackle any problem that comes our way!

What areas do you service?We currently only service the west-side of South Boston between West 4th Street and West 9th street. (West Broadway to Old Colony Ave)

What are your operating hours?We are open from Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm.

Do you accept all breeds?Yes - We walk all types of dog breeds. Big or small, energetic or timid. We pair your dog into the right group based on its size and temperament.

How long do you walk the dogs for?Dog walks are typically 45-minutes in length. In extreme weather conditions, we may shorten the walks down to 20-30 minutes.

Where do you walk the dogs?We typically walk the dogs in a mile-long circle around the streets of South Boston., finding lots of grassy wooded areas to stop along the way. We'll occasionally let the dogs off-leash in designated dog parks areas if one is nearby.

What's the maximum number of dogs you walk at once?The maximum number of dogs we walk is 6 at a time.

What if my dog doesn't walk well or get along with other dogs?With your approval, we may try introducing your dog to other dogs slowly. Many dogs adjust pretty well to a pack-walking routine after only a few weeks. If your dog is aggressive towards other dogs or isn't responding well, we do offer individual solo walks for an additional +$10 per walk.

Do you offer quick walks for older/elderly dogs?Yes - We do offer quick walks for the same rate as a traditional walk. We'll take extra good care and make sure they have ample time to get some fresh air and use the bathroom.

Can I use a harness? Does it matter what restraint I use?We do not typically recommend the use of a harness unless it fits perfectly snug and securely. We instead recommend using slip leads or well-fitted collars. If a customer prefers to use a harness, the customer responsible for making sure the harness fits properly. We are not responsible for any dog who escapes as a result of wiggling out of an improperly fitted harness.

Do you do walks on the weekends or overnight pet sitting?At this time, we do not offer weekend walks or overnight pet sitting. Our walkers have requested the weekends off in order to rest their legs and recharge. As you could imagine, dog walking can be a very strenuous job.

What's the process like to sign up?First we get in contact via email or telephone, then we schedule a time to meet in-person for a dog meet-and-greet. After a brief initial introduction and consultation, we will exchange a few forms to sign and a copy of your keys (if applicable). Walks can begin as early as next day!

How do I schedule a walk?The easiest way to schedule a walk is to text John directly at 860-552-9415, or email him at john.gordon@uconn.edu.

Is it okay if I'm working from home?Yes! We have many customers who work from home yet are still very eager for walks. If possible, have the dog collar or harness ready for when we arrive. We'll send you a 2-minute text alert before our arrival, or ring the doorbell if preferred.

How far in advance do I need to schedule walks?You can schedule a walk anytime! Preferably 24-72 hours in advance. But we are always able to accept last-minute requests if need be. Most clients will text us their schedule for the upcoming week on Sunday evening.

Do you cancel walks when it rains/snows?No - We do not typically cancel walks in bad weather. A light to moderate rain or snow shower is to be expected from time to time. In extreme severe weather situations; such as a blizzard, torrential downpour, or lightning, we may need to delay or cancel walks for the safety of the dogs and walker.

What payments methods do you accept?We accept all Credit/Debit Cards, Venmo, Apple Pay, Zelle, Cash or Check

How do you get the dogs to sit so still for photos?We use a variety of (secret) techniques. Most of which are simply distractions to keep the dogs engaged and looking one direction towards the camera. We use a variety of things from treats, to toys, to sound making devices :)

Are you insured?Yes! We are fully-insured. Coverage includes vet bill reimbursement in case of an accident.
